Projection Facilities
The Conference room is equipped with overhead projector and with facilities for PowerPoint presentation. Speakers are kindly asked to contact the registration desk in the half-day prior to their presentation with the exception of those speakers on the first day, who are requested to contact the registration desk at least one hour before the Opening Session.

Posters should be displayed by 13h00 on the first day and should be removed on Friday. Materials for mounting will be supplied.
Posters selected by the Scientific Committee will be awarded.

Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be included in the Conference package.

A Book of Abstracts, which also includes the program, will be provided in the Conference package.
A Proceedings book will be edited in 2010 containing lectures and selected oral communications.


Congress Badge
Badges should be worn at all scientific and social activities.

Lunches are included in the registration fee. Tickets will be provided in the Conference package.

Medical Care
In case of emergency call 112.
The University Hospital, Hospital de Santa Maria is within 500 m from C6 and will attend anybody in need. Participants from EU should present European Health Care Card. Other participants should have health insurance. In case you need assistance, please contact the registration desk.

Payments/ Banks
Unsettled registration fee payments should be paid at the registration desk, upon arrival.
Banking operations with other currencies or other means of payment will be made through official banks.
There is an official Bank in the Faculty of Sciences, Building C7, which is open from Monday to Friday, from 9h00 to 17h00 and closed at lunch time, from 12h00 to 13h00.

The usual opening hours are from 9h00 or 10h00 h to 19h00. Some small shops, in traditional areas, close for lunch between 13h00 and 15h00.
Lisbon has a wide range of attractive shopping centers and supermarkets open until 23h00 or 24h00.

Credit Cards
Most hotels and shops accept major international credit cards.
